    The appropriate response being "Melanie who?" I'm pretty sure Tippi's gotten more work than MG in the last decade.

    I also like to think that when JJ8 Class of '11 starts their blog, they will have this exact same conversation about Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson.

    Neither Goldie Hawn nor Kate Hudson has been in a movie even close to as good as The Birds. In twenty years, the robot overlords who control the digital network implanted in our brains will NOT include Kate Hudson in their YouTube movie video mash-ups. I guarantee it.

    You're probably right, although I don't much care for "The Birds," and haven't seen "Cactus Flower" or, uh..."Bride Wars?"

    Tippi was also the title character in "Marnie," which is one of a handful of Hitchcock movies that I'm pretty sure I haven't seen, but if I watched the first ten minutes of would probably be like "OH RIGHT, MARNIE"

    All you need to know about Marnie is that Sean Connery spends the entire movie making the word "sex" about ten syllables of hotness - misogynstic, condescending hotness, but hotness nonetheless.
