Hey! Hurricane Irene made me come home from the beach.
This weather is putting me in the mood for chili. And cornbread. And other canned and boxed foods. MMMMmmmm.
Not sure how this whole thing will blow over, but I was thinking a Sunday afternoon post-hurricane gathering could be in order. I just stood in line for an hour at my local grocery store.....stocked up on all things chili. If we don't all die tomorrow morning, and you have the means to get to my house...come over. Walk, drive, or bike. If not, I'll freeze it and save it for a different rainy day.
