Excellent. I saw this, too. I emailed Ben's parents a link and told 'em I wasn't coming to Thanksgiving unless they served turkey cake. They seem to think I was kidding.
That looks really disgusting, but even worse the recipe:
For the turkey layers: Unsalted butter, for coating the pans 2 pounds ground turkey breast 1 cup quick-cooking oats 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated on the small holes of a box grater 1/3 cup ketchup 1/3 cup finely chopped yellow onion 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh Italian parsley 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme leaves 1 teaspoon minced fresh sage leaves 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
Mattie, I assume that bile is rising so you can digest this beauty quicker... As there is a 100% chance of this being on my Thanksgiving table, I will report back tasting notes soon.
