According to my sources, yesterday was the last ever broadcast of Mike & The Mad Dog. Russo's leaving for Sirius, Francesa's staying to be fat by himself.

I'm gonna weep when Somers dies.

    in other wfan related news, did you know the sweeney was indian? i almost fell out of my chair when i saw him on tv.

    in other famous indian related news, india one its first, yes, first gold medal! in shooting! and the dude is punjabi!

    i have known about sweeney murdi (that's how his last name is spelled) for a little while and was equally stunned when i saw his picture for the first time. he actually reminds me of my freshman year roommate, who i was also shocked to find he was indian after having spoken to him on the phone before we met. his name was stanley john.

    as for mike and maddog, francessa will now be absolutely impossible to listen to, although it must be a bit of an ego blow to him to see russo land the more lucrative deal before he did. i really don't like francessa.

    I always thought Francessa's great tragedy was that he never had children. And then he had children, and he didn't change at all.
