Just a smattering of glorious moments this weekend in honor of Ben's persistent and everlasting youth:

Hungry Marching band surprise, PBR, dancing monsters on stilts, drag queens, clown/dog/pigeon drag in Queens, matsoh ball- smelling sausage at Shea, Patron shots, MEAT, long walks under the elevated on Roosevelt Ave, turbans at Shea, belly shots, the requisite near-arrest of Ben, blowing out the (non)birthday cake, and....love.

White Rabbits, my brother's band, will be playing this Saturday, April 21st at Luna Lounge in W'burg. They go on after 8pm. They are opening for Richard Swift. Let's go!!!!

reflections from the sick bed

to brace myself for the storm of bacteria invading my body i went to the brooklyn public library last night and took out three movies and two books. last night i watched buffalo '66. for some reason i had been avoiding it since it was released but it turns out to be quite good. afterwards, my curiosity about vincent gallo piqued, i turned to google. the man, based on buffalo '66, was a good actor, director, screenwriter, songwriter in addition to being a former motorcycle racer. a fairly impressive set of credentials.

anyway what i stumbled upon was: http://www.vgmerchandise.com/misc.html. a website where vincent gallo not only offer trinkets for sale but also offers up himself for a night or weekend to:
